Born and raised in Portland, OR, Katie is an Oregon State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Merchandising Management and Business Administration. 16 years of experience working for world-class companies such as Nordstrom, Nike, and Estee Lauder has crystallized her devotion to client satisfaction and commitment to excellence. More recently, Ms. Barbieri has owned and operated a luxury, boutique skincare business in Montecito, CA in which she maintains a loyal following with her facial clientele.
When it comes to life at The Oak + Violet Salon, Katie carries on her thoughtful approach to waxing and believes eyebrows are of central importance to framing the face as the eyes truly are the window to the soul.
